The seeding index will be used as a guideline to ascertain the rider’s standard. This will not be the sole criteria on which a participant is judged and participation in the batch will be at the discretion of the President Commissaire. \n\nParticipants who do not qualify in accordance with the criteria listed above, but want to ride in Category A, must submit their request in writing to info@bdem.org.za at least 7 working days before the event.\nRiders with a CSA racing license, CSA membership, or CSA day membership can participate. This batch will race for the male prize purse.\n\nCategory B female\nThe same criteria apply to the female race as to the male race.\nCategory B onwards\nThe batches will be limited to 250 riders.\nCategory B onwards will be open-seeded batches. Riders will be seeded accordingly based on 3 previous races, Seeding index.\nThere will be no prize money awarded to the podium places for category C only.
